 I have no problems...

wanting Texas to win Thursday.  Big 12 over all others!  However, I cannot seem to say hook'em anything with a strait face. 

I'm right with you on Cincinatti though.  My thoughts are that if you want to play with the big dogs, get yourself into a big dog conference.  Easier said than done, I'm just sayin'.

Mom, getting you a point and shoot camera is not up to me.  I will point out though that if Dad's camera is on auto, it IS a point and shoot camera.

Now, where are all the other family members ready to accept the blog challenge?  No wimping out!

I'll take lessons from Dad on posting..but I need a point and shoot cheapo camera...these big black things with things ot twist and buttons to push...yikes..

As for the Longhorns...GO Texas!!! We want Texas to take it. Oklahoma will walk over them next year...SOONERS!!!

Christie, did you know Mike Lowry and his Santa Fe band traveled to London to march in their New Years parade? They just showed them on the news this am. Good for them!!

I am about ready to go over and pack some orders, the I am not sure what the rest of the day holds...we'll see. Christie if you are NOT going to be home, let me know.

 This Is So Hard - Football

I cannot believe I am saying this, but, I cannot help but take my prejudice off the table, put the Big 12 ahead of personal feelings, and wish the Texas Longhorns the very best against a non-Big 12 foe.

Alabama v Texas may be the best show of the new year.

 FOOTBALL - When the right things happen

All we heard about was Cincinatti deserving to be in the Bowl Championship game since they too are/were undefeated.

Today, talk was cheap, action told its own story:

I quit watching when Florida went up 44-10. This is what happens when a "non-BCS" team has to play a school that was in the hunt for the National Championship all year.

Cincinatti needs to bow its head to a "real" football team and return for 2010 to go undefeated playing other high school teams. But, next year, they can acceept a bowl bid against someone they have a chance against. (I think a Boise State against Cincinatti would have been a good game.)

So, congrats to OU against a talented Stanford team and best wishes to the Cowboys in the Cotton Bowl tomorrow.

 Okay, Special Request Of Jchon

I would ask three things of my very, very busy son Jchon.

In no particular order ;

1. Take off the Father's Day highlight

2. Take off the 2009 White Rock Marathon list, add 2010, and it will be great, having 2009 . . ,. well . . . .

3. Update the copyright notice to 2010. I was amazed when I saw that Yahoo had the new update on at mid-night Eastern.

Okay, enough holday wishes.

Mom continually comments on how cool it is that I can post such neat photos. Interestingly, not ONCE has she asked me to show her how.

It's in your court now mom, ask for the 5 minute lesson.

 No excuses allowed...

Jchon can post a reminder set of picture posting instructions I'm sure.  And Daddy has enough cameras for the both of you!

 I will write long posts...

and I can even interject political commentary..but I can't figure out how to post a picture!! Not too mention, I don't have a camera and taking a weekly pictures would be difficult. :)

But I will do my best!! And I will write diligently!

Just a brief "howdy" will not work.  You have to post something about your week....and a picture.  Those don't have to be at the same time, but you have to do both.

So..so far for the New Years...I have slept the entire day!! After going to bed last night at one am..(nothing too unusual these days), I slept until 10 am!!! Could not believe it when I woke up...anyway, had a huge headache all day and I don't think I moved from my chair but to get something eat or sleep. Woke up  the last time at 9:15 this evening! Don't think I will have any triouble going to sleep tonight either.

Frankie and Simone spent the day with some old friends, Blaize spent the day at Monica and Bens and will spend the night. And Frankie and Simone are sleeping at Steve's place as there is room to sleep on the floor there and Frankie thinks that will be easier on his back. Soo...tomorrow we will do something in the morning I think..pick up Blaize for one, then go down to Norman to visit Christie. While waiting to do that, I will try and get some orders packed I should have done today.

Dad is frustrated becasue is deleted about 500 pictures off his little chip thingy from his camera...doesnt' remember doing it, but can't get them to load, so must have...so he has been messing with that all day.
