 bad football day

Ugly game with Texas, Florida pulls it out in the last 14 seconds, TU almost but didn't take Boise (Thursday)..our hope is now with OSU vs Mizzu tonight. It wouldn't hurt for Alabama to lose tonight. Oh, Nebraska lost too..shoot..

I spent the day trying to organize the kiln room. It looks MUCH better and will smell better I am sure since the dead kitty is gone. We got a nice shelving unit with bins and have all the kiln furniture and stilts divided and neatly organized. Will make loading greenware and/or glazed pieces much easier.

As well, we are stripping the pouring room of all pouring tables, slipmixers, and getting all clay off the floor and cleaning all equipment so Dad can more efficiently pour molds next weekend. So busy, busy, busy. Tomorrow I will pull some orders, do some cleaning an organizing it the paint pouring room and get positioned to pack for the Ft. Worth Show first weekend in Nov.

Michelle, you take it easy after your surgery. Sounds like it was a long day. Let Anthony and the boys take care of you for a few days!

For those of you with sons...this is awesome! I think it would be worth ordering the book! Some good stuff there. And some funny stuff too.

And for those of you who I have not introduced them to you yet, you have another adopted sister. Some of you are already friends on FB, Emily Burner.  I am considering adopting a son as well, though I am getting flack from Chrisite who thinks she already has enough brothers. I am in discussions with Derek as I type. He is currently dating a nice girl and I have to decide if we need another 'couple' in the family. I'll let you know. You can friend him on FB too..Derek Sparks. Jchon you could trade running stories. He attended Tulsa U on a track scholorship. Nice guy. I'd post pictures of all here if I knew how. But they both have pic's on FB

Sarah, our other sister is in complete agreement with this arrangement and is looking forward to a in person meeting with her new sister.

Other news...Dad is back from the Texas show and currently recuperating! This weekend it will be back to work getting ready for the Ft. Worth show. in November.

I don't think we have made a decision about what we are doing for Thanksgiving...I don't know that we will know until a week or so prior. Too much going on. But it does look like I will have the whole week between Christmas and New Years off again, yea!!

I am going to be out of the office all day tomorrow so want to say Happy Birthday to Blaize and Dawn (you guys were so nice to put two birthdays on one day..it is VERY helpful!)

Blaize I can't believe you are getting to be such a big young man! 9 years old! Pretty soon you will be driving a car and going to college!! I hope you have a very fun birthday party this weekend!

Dawn, I can't believe you are getting so old either!! LOL!!! Ok..that was funny. Pretty soon JJ, Daniel and Elijah will be driving and going to college!! hehehehe. I hope you have a relaxing and quiet birthday!!

You see so much icky news these days, good news stories are great!

Dad and I are going to be doing a paint-a-thon this weekend. We got back from Ohio and we have hardly ANY inventory. The good news is that we have some orders. SO...I have about 40 colors to mix and pour over the weekend so Dad can pull orders and pack and ship. I guess it is a good thing the lawn mower is broken so we don't have to feel guilty about not mowing the 12" grass. Unfortunately the washer and dryer do work, but they will not get a work OUT this weekend. William pretty much keeps the kitchen up to speed, so at least we have someplace clean to eat. The living room is a mess, but next weekend will have to do!

I can't believe it is almost October!!! We have to do some Thanksgiving and Christmas planning soon. I have no idea what our schedule is now at all. Have not had time to think about that part yet.

Yea to Dawn on her new job!! A toy store at Christmas time is going to be fun fun!!! I hope the hours don't wear you out.
