 One of my favorites...

Every once in a while, you accidentally get a great shot.  This is one of my favorites of Leo.

Had a GREAT visit with Michelle and the boys!  Wish we had more time but I imagine we'll all feel that way.

 Happy Birthday to Michelle on June 29th

Everyone must be wondering why I am saying Happy Birthday on the 29th and not the 27th. Well, that is a short story, at least as mine go.

My father and I have never been "best buds" so when Michelle was born, I called about everyone I had known since childhood, that is, everyone other than my father. I could see a problem on the horizon and on the 29th I told him of Michelle's birth. So, when he remembered at all, he thought it was on the 29th. So, from my father's grave, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!!!

and Happy Birthday from me too sweetheart. I look forward to having you home soon. (Mom has lots of sweaty work for you to do.)

 Just an update...

Okay Mom, even you are falling behind.  And Dad too!  Not good.  Here's what's been going on with me.  Traveling of course.  Home a few days, gone a couple days, home a few days, gone a couple days.  Works well for me!  I've seen all kinds of things.  I posted to my school blog pictures of my first trip this summer.  I'm getting ready to update it with my second trip.  I'll try to post those links here too.  Other than that,  I found out I am teaching 3rd grade next year, so now I need to change my webpage header again.  I'll also have to move classrooms - which means I won't have a SmartBoard anymore.  :(  I'll only have a couple days to do that at the end of the summer, because they won't let us in before then.  Once I have my room moved, I have to move another room, because it has all the third grade stuff in it.  So, it's going to be interesting!  On the plus side, the new room has a closet!  Yay!  And I'll be working with a great team.  I'll also be closer to the front of the school, so it won't be quite the hike out to my room.  It's a little smaller, so I'm going to have to do some rearranging, but I'll work that out.  I also just found out they are adding 20 minutes to the day, so I'll have some more instructional time.  Yay!  again.  That's about it from here.  Tag to the next person!

 Vincent and 48 hours

Vincent must have had a couple of hours in there somewhere to allow him to spray orange paint around the pouring room, including some into a $100 mold that may or may not be fixable.

The neat thing is it was pretty hard to say he wasn't there at the time since he had the orange color on some of his clothes yesterday at his graduation.

I shall survive . . .

Yea for Christie for updating!! EVERYONE needs to chime in now...there is about 3 months of living that has gone undocumented!!

I am not sure I can adequately go in to all the details of what we have been doing for several weeks as I just finished listening to an Obama news conference and I think my brain is completely scrambled....however..

This weekend Dad and I are going to a day long seminar on internet sales and building your online business. I am sure they want to sell us something, but we are hoping to just come away with some good ideas. Then Sunday and Monday I will be working hard on the yard and house, Dad will be pouring bisque.

We had B,V and J last weekend and (according to Vincent) worked them 48 hours straight and we completely filled the dumpster and got a ton of the work yard cleaned up. Still lots more, but it was a nice start. Brianna worked on organizing the kitchen and our laundry.

Yesterday I attended Vincents 5th grade graduation along with Monica. Glad none of you guys had graduation until 12th grade...
