 why is it...

...that I think you could find multiple interesting pictures without moving out of your living room? No excuses...

But I can hardly wait for you to post the new ones here..the picture on especially is awesome!

Dad and I are home from Cinci and we are ready to get the week going!

And for those of you with cats...William is very pleased with the high priced electric cleaning cat litter box...he indicates it saves on litter and keeps the smell way down...(he has committed his relationship with Bubba...I'll try to post a picture later..to FB..would have no clue how to do it here. But I have to wait until Bubba will let me get close enough, he doesn't like me..

But it still didn't work.  Maybe it's something Jchon has to fix?  The pics are ready to post as soon as I can get to them.

I have to say, it's difficult to find something to take pics of when you don't leave the house all day!  I went out briefly to remedy my toast deficiency.  I am now the proud owner of a new toaster.  It did NOT cost me $319!  It will have its trial run in the morning when I attempt the very complicated cinnamon raisin toast.

Give God the Glory and still give yourself a pat on the back for instilling the principles and the foundation of the faith he is comfortable relying on!

What a gift you and Anthony have given the boys...it will come in handy many, many times in their lifetimes! Don't cut yourself short here..:)

 Coversation after the all clear

This morning while at the commisary getting stuff in case the power went out the boys wanted to know why so many people were at the store that early. (the line wrapped around the inside of the store 2 times)  I explain to them that there is a Tsunami watch and what that was and what is could mean for us. 

As we are going go fill up the car with gas the boys look very concerned.  So i go into a long talk about how prepared we are and how we are going to be fine.  The look doubtful but say that they feel better.  Once we get home they look much calmer and are happily playing the Wii.  I am a little suprised that Leo is ok as he is our worrier.

So as the day goes on I start to pat myself on the back thinking what a good job I did reassuring the boys that everything was going to be ok.  At around 2:00 we get the all clear.  I decide to take the boys and go look for Turtle Beach.  As we drive along I let the boys know that the Tsunami warning was over.  Leo looks at me and says "Oh, I already knew that we would be fine" I smiled and asked how he knew.  He says" because I prayed to God this morning and asked him to have the Tsunami pass us."

So all day I thought I had done such a good job with the reassurances when the whole time it was his Faith that had kept him calm.

 Those are gorgous!!

I hope you can continue this as well...hopefully it will inspire us all to a: look at the wonderous things around us everyday and b: post on this blog more often!!

We are currently settled in for  the night in St. Clair, MO after picking up glass and plastic in Cincinatti this afternoon. We will head back south about 9 am and hope to be home by dinner!

We stopped for lunch at a Bob Evans and had the MOST wonderful cherry cobbler w/ice cream..so totally NOT in our diets, but worth every wonderful calorie!!

Back to work on Monday with LOTS coming up to do in April, thus LOTS to do in March getting ready. So...keep posting these pics, to keep me focused!!

 Day 1 of 365 Days of Photos

We'll see if I can keep it up.  My goal is to take (and post!) at least one photo per day.

My life is not all that exciting, so we'll see what I come up with.  Today I was just out doing grocery shopping when I noticed the gorgeous moon.  I stopped in several places to see what kind of pics I could get, and then at one stop I turned around and there was an equally gorgeous sunset.

I am so blessed...Thank you and you have a gift of putting into words what I feel...:)

Now I have an oddball request...would every person please post a picture (ON HERE) from you work place. That includes MOMS!! If you work two places, both work places! I think it would be nice to be able to picture where every one spends most of their day, or part if you are a part timer! So..lets hop to it!! Please post in both your album and the blurb please...and FB if you must :)

 VALENTINE'S DAY IS EVERY DAY FOR ME

I don't need a special day to have a Valentine's day. Every one of the past 14,434 days with a woman I knew the moment I saw her she would be my life long soul mate.

To all who will listen or care, being married is more than a piece of paper or vows spoken in all honesty.

When you have a friend, a companion, someone who will listen when there are other things needing to be done. They will be a person who would put themselves in danger's way for you and know that their mate would do that same.

Yes, you must be lovers, something all too many take for granted. But don't let that be your only yard stick for being happily married. There is so much more, without which   14, 434 days will seem like an eternity. Life is far too complex to let that to happen.

Mom and I have shared special moments, fun moments, challenging moments, moments far too long to list.

Let it suffice to say that my judgment on that sunny day in August, 1970 was not only "right on". but stuck to that special commiteement we share. (More likely, ffew would have stayed around during all the diffficult times.Only a very special woman AND a very special relationship would get through it all.

In El Centro, (I think that is where it was.) we bought her a birthday cake with Super Woman on it. It has turned out to be a massive understatement. No "wonder" anything could even come close to having what mom has to give.
