 Happy New Years to all!

All in all, it has been a good year. As most, there have been ups and downs, but I count my blessings as Dad and I have the most important things in life...family. And we are better off than many in the world with a roof over our head, food to eat, access to healthcare, and the privalege of employment AND the opportunity to build a business into a viable company over time.

Lest I don't say it often enough, I love you all. Our "little ones"...oh so big and grown up now...time has flown and it just seems like yesterday that we had you all at home. I'm proud that you are all out on your own (almost..William I know you are working on it!) and are independant adults making responsible decisons.

May 2008 bring peace and happiness to all of you. May God bless you with health and the means to maintain a reasonable lifestyle. May your relationships flourish and new opportunities for learning and growing present themselves!

Every day is precious, I intend to savor each of mine..I hope you all do as well.

Jchon, the clip of JJ is awesome! I think Blake Shelton has a song he sings about cowboys that he would really like. I will have to find it!

 It is 3 years....

Yesterday he was 31.  If he was born in 1973, he would be 34 today.  That's 3 years.  Hmmmph.

No fair calling me on this one...first thing in the morning..no coffee yet...and....the letters/numbers on my keyboard are wearing away...and it isn't 3 years anyway...1975 thank you...71,73,75,77,79..we did that on purpose so we could remember the years! No even children for us!

I see from Mom's post you have aged three years since yesterday.  That's pretty good!  Although shouldn't you have done that in your teens instead of in your thirties?  Have a great day!

Wasn't it nice I had you on a holiday! That way you always get the day off. Well, unless you don't get New Years Eve off...and is New Years Eve actually an officially recognized holiday? <sigh> I tried.

This time in 1973 [Editor's Note: I was born in 1975], I was making breakfast for John, Frankie and Christie at our house in Oceanside, can't remember the street name. The one where John could walk to school. I don't remember what I was making..probably pouring cereal into bowls. I told Dad he would have to take the day off because I knew at this time that I was going to have a baby that day. I think around 8 or so, we loaded up the kids (nope, no seats, no seat belts) and we drove to the hospital on the base at Camp Pendleton. He dropped me off at the front door and I told him I would call when you got there..no one to take care of the kids!  Don't be offended though..Dad didn't "do" delilveries...for any of you! :) After the fact when you were clean and dry he was right there!. They took you away from me right after you were born and I had to walk to the nursery, show them my arm band to pick you up to feed you! Military! Even the wives have to be in good shape! And Moms had to do it...not Dads. At any rate, it was a great day. Home the next and on with life! John thought you were pretty cool, Frankie and Christie were too busy being two and fighting with each other (Chrisite didn't have Michelle yet, Frankie was her target! :) ), though I think you were a nice distraction for at least a couple of days.

I know you will have a great day surrounded by your family. You have made choices to create a loving home for you and the people most important to you and today is your day to enjoy that! Happy Birthday!

I see you wrote the last post not Dawn..but that makes Frazzled pink even more impressive since you described exactly what it is. But Dad is still not sure he wants "frazzled" anything associated with our paints...sort of indicates a "help me, I can't get up" mentality...???

 Dad's so cute....

We were watching the weather for next weekend...it looks like it will be rather nice. He mentioned that "if we have things caught up by then, we could work in the yard". I am still laughing so hard I can hardly type. We have been married for....wait, let me count...32 years. I can't remember a single moment in time we were caught up :)

Dawn if you think of a deep sparkly pink with "Frazzled Pink", then we might just go with that, as that is exactly what it is. I painted a chip for Dad to post a picture, but he hasn't done it yet.

I like the name Frazzled Pink.  It sounds to me like a shiny, kind of dark hot pink.  Not neon, just a deep, sparkly pink.

I like blue denim too.  Although I wouldn't recommend Blue Demin.  People might think you can't spell and are into voodoo or something.
