 Nope...

No e-mails here either.  I thought it was just me.

I'm beginning to think the Army needs some new people in it's people placing offices!  They don't seem to be doing such a great job with anyone.

The kids come back tomorrow, so we'll see what kind of class I have.  Looks very interesting so far.  I've heard it's a very creative class, which works well for my teaching style.  We had "meet the teacher night" tonight, and I had 17 out of 20 parents show up, so that's a great sign.  Several said they'd come help out when needed, etc.  I've also had the siblings of a couple of them, so I'm familiar with the family.

I'm just loving the Olympics.  I sat and yelled at the TV yesterday while watching that amazing relay race.  I really want to get some sleep, but I don't want to miss the men's gymnastic team finals.

And Mom I am not sure that that is a politically correct question :)

And have you thought that of going in to get stitches in your foot?  That would definitally keep it from re-opening.

Simone and Frankie, I am so sorry the Army is messing you around like that. That will teach you Frankie, to know what you are doing. What kind of job are you getting offered?

I wish I had Odie..I would take anthing I could get! It is still giving me fits. I think if I could stay off of it for 48 hours or so it would heal, but it is in just the right place that every time I walk it opens back up....(I know..icky...)

Anthony, I LOVE it!! So cute..and you should be writing all that stuff down, as you will so soon forget. All of mine said cute things too, but I couldn't tell you any of them...'cept "Blooster"...

I am not getting emails telling  me that people have posted anymore!  Is anyone else having issues?  Or is it a problem with my email?

"Tony, i am reading the destructions for this game!"  "Leo, its not destructions! You are reading the Eggstructions!"  Michelle gets mad at me sometimes for not fixing the kid versions of real words, but I have given in.  I just imagined Leo asking for his favorite snack at school, Kretzels!

they want him to leave by now. BUT they want his connections too. His new command is new and with new I mean his very first command. He has no clue what he can do and what not. Plus he is kissing the CSM behind big time since he doesn`t get the point that he is the higher rank.

We are still working on CO/FL or staying here. Frankie was offered a job here and we are working that issue as of right now since nothing else comes up. So to your question , a big no. No time no where to go to as of yet.

It`s a big mess and a big cluelessness going on. It`s been bad on my nerves and we both are trying to stop smoking but with all that stress going on incl work I just can`t seem to do it YET .

Hopefully I`ll know more soon. I pray every day .

Did you try to take a Epsom salt bath for you foot ? That helped my belly button piercing in no time. If you had an Odie it would be healed by now too. He takes so good care of us if we have somesthing like that. I had a huge blister on my back of the foot and it was gone in a couple of days after he kept on licking it :)

Simone, have they given you NO indication at all when/where you might be going? That'll teach Frankie to do such a great job...they won't let him go...When does Blaize start back to school?

Anthony, I couldn't agree more! ****trigger**** political statement....and if we want it to stay that way..the phrase is "anyone but Obama!!! Can you imagine Obama handling the crisis with Russia and Georgia?? Criminy...scares me to death...

I am still hobbling around on my foot. It simply will not heal. I take bandages off at night to air out and it looks pretty good in the morning, but because of where it is located, once I start walking on it all day, it opens up again and can;t heal. The only option, which isn't a an option, is to sit with my foot up, not moving for about 48 hours...yea...THAT would work...

Christie how is school going ? how many in your class? Do they like Galapa"Gus"?

I dont think there is anything more fun than sitting here with shelly and the boys rooting on America in there various events.  It is just another opportunity to realize again and be proud of being able to live freely in the greatest country, in the greatest time, in the history of the world!
